For the other Egyptophiles....
Tonight at 9pm on the Discovery Channel there is a special called "Egypt's New Tomb Revealed" which will highlight the excavation of KV63, a New Kingdom tomb located in the Valley of the Kings. Archaeologists believe it may contain the mummy of Tutankhamen's wife, Ankhesenamun (they showed a snippet of some hieroglyphs on the commercial, and they read "pa-aten." Before Tut restored Egypt's traditional religion, Ankhesenamun's name was Ankhesenpaaten).

I just thought that some of you might appreciate it, if you were not aware of it already. :)

AAAAAAAAAAAAckkckc. I KNEW I was forgetting something. I got completely sucked into the 4400 marathon! I don't even watch the show! Damn damn damn. :( Oh well. Perhaps it'll be on again?

Just wanted to say hello and let you know I saw your guestbook comment and have reciprocally added you back as an LJ friend :) I've also been enjoying your website quite a bit!

You have quite a bit of talent showcased there but I suppose I am not telling you anything you didn't already know :) Your site is quite lovely on many levels and I will enjoy further explorations. Anyway, nicetomeetcha and all that jazz!

Yours, Dawn

Re: Hello!
Hi Dawn,

Thank you :) I presume that your comments were referencing the gallery section of my website primarily, is that correct? I have not been updating my official gallery page as of late because I intend to completely overhaul it in the near future, but I have been regularly updating my DevinatART account. There is a lot of work present there that is not on my website.

Thank you for friending me as well. It seems like your LJ is as much a treasure trove of information as your actual website, and so I'm delighted to get the opportunity to read it.

excuse the typo!
I meant to write DeviantART, not DevinatART.

Re: excuse the typo!
Not a problem, I gotcha :) I haven't had a chance to explore much there yet, been concentrating on your personal website first. I really love the design a lot and am finding inspiration to maybe add some changes to my own site as well. I'm off for the annual Midsummer campout so I look forward to chatting more and exploring more of your art and writing when I return, hope you have a great weekend!
